From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with a glass of their own Porto wine, setting the tone for a wonderful experience. the room was lovely, and the views of the Douro were breathtaking. the highlight for me was the delicious 3, course home cooked dinner, which was not included in the price but definitely worth it. I had the chance to meet fellow travelers, share stories by the fireplace, and enjoy the free, flowing wine. the hospitality of the hosts was exceptional, despite the language barrier they tried hard to communicate and even accommodated my gluten, free diet. it was a perfect vacation experience, and I highly recommend staying at this gem of a guesthouse. Cons: Nothing, no complaints at all. 👌.

We stayed at Quinta Da Casa Cimeira for a few nights and it was absolutely wonderful. The food at Casa Cimeira was outstanding, and the wines and port wines were a delightful surprise. We enjoyed sharing meals with fellow travelers and having engaging conversations. The pool area was a great place to relax, especially during the hot afternoons. Miguel and his wife were excellent hosts, providing us with great recommendations for exploring the region. The view from our room was also stunning.
We highly recommend this hotel.

The room was cozy and comfortable, perfect for a Christmas getaway. The hosts were friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. The location was picturesque, with stunning views of the surrounding countryside. Plus, the home-cooked dinners were delicious and reasonably priced, offering a taste of local cuisine.
The lack of information on amenities was a bit confusing. We had trouble figuring out how to order drinks or use the pool.

We stayed at Casa Cimeira for 3 nights and had a wonderful time. The hosts, Maria and Arturo, were incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. The location overlooking the Douro valley was breathtaking, and the 200-year-old house had so much charm and atmosphere. The rooms were spacious and clean, and we loved the surprise of the comfort shower in the antique bathroom. The dinner cooked by Maria and Arturo was delicious, and we enjoyed sharing a meal with other guests at the big table. The garden and swimming pool were absolutely amazing, and the breakfast was great too. one of the nicest places we've ever stayed.
Would definitely recommend this hotel.

I had a truly authentic and memorable experience at Quinta Da Casa Cimeira. The location on top of the hills provided breathtaking views of the Duoro River and Pinhau. The beautifully renovated farmhouse had a lot of charm and the swimming pool was a nice touch. I especially enjoyed the communal breakfast and dinner with the other guests, where I got to meet fellow travelers and enjoy the hospitality of Maria and Arthur. It was definitely a great value for money.

Great view of the valley and nice communal dinners with other guests.
Confusing directions and lack of clear communication from staff.

The communal dinners at Quinta Da Casa Cimeira were a highlight of my stay. Sitting around a huge table with other guests, enjoying a delicious three-course meal with wines, created a wonderfully sociable atmosphere. The food was homemade and absolutely delicious, and the price of just 20 euros per person was a great value. It was a unique experience to dine and chat with people from different countries, sharing stories and laughter. The guesthouse itself was charming, with a 200-year-old house and stunning views of the Douro Valley. The location, though remote, was well worth the effort for the breathtaking scenery. I highly recommend Quinta Da Casa Cimeira for its warm hospitality and memorable dining experiences.
